Klauer Manufacturing has developed a damper opening device that is a rack and pinion gear which produces positive elevating and closure of the ventilator damper valve. This eliminates the slamming noise due to increase and reduction of air pressure within the building.

This mechanical device will not rust or corrode. It will not freeze due to condensation. Very little pressure is needed to activate the damper. There can be several vents coupled together, making it possible to open or close them at one central point.

The ventilator Ridgolator is a product which has been manufactured by Klauer for 70 years. During that time, it has been refined to near perfection. It is the most weather proof ventilation product on the market. The size refers to the throat opening. Now we have added a damper to the product. It has met with excellent acceptance.
