Manufacturing Associate II
Manufacturing Associate II: Operate the roll forming line and other machinery used in the production process, or assist other machine operators.
Work in a team environment with fast changing priorities to achieve team goals.
Provide a high level of attention to detail and focus on a given task.
Ensure quality control inspection of parts as per the quality check sheets.
Measures work piece dimensions using ruler, template, or other measuring instruments to determine accuracy of machine operation.
Perform assigned work to meet quality expectations.
Adhere to all policies, including factory rules, work procedures, safety rules, and quality standards.
Actively support and participate in safety and continuous improvement initiatives.
Know where to find and how to apply bar codes, labeling, lift quantities, load numbers and correct packaging to all finished product.
Properly handle and stack material to specification.
Handle the material in a manner so it doesn’t get damaged.
Removes individual parts from machine upon completion and places into a box or rack.
Physical demands for this job require standing walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stooping. Strength rating for this job is M – Medium work – exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and /or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for light work.
